14 produced in this year with a total production of 1354 between years 1898 and 1931 with 6 produced in 1937. That's it. How many have survived is unknown but this one is completely intact and presents a great example of this era and model. Even after Martin began making the larger 00 size instruments, the 0-28 was still the company's favorite and for good reason. As late as the 1920's, Martin still recommended the 0-28 as it's finest model for the solo guitarist.
