1948 Gibson J-50
A beautiful example of the Gibson workhorse J-50. This is one of my favorite Gibson models and in my opinion, are greatly underrated by the market. It seems everyone wants that painted body but from a purity perspective, this to me is the quintessential acoustic Gibson. They always have a crisp, powerful voice that is clearer and more balanced than the J-45 and they project with a lot of immediate response. Nice dry voice with a good decay and superb harmonics all combine to make this a great example of the J-50. All original and in lovely slightly played condition, its a great opportunity to buy into a 40's Gibson. Prov: Gruhn Guitars
