1951 Gibson Southern Jumbo
I sold this a number of years ago when the bridge was low but it was such a great sounding SJ that we left it that way for the time being. Since, the past owner did what we didn't and very properly replaced the bridge, you wouldn't know, and my, what a guitar it is now. SJ's are typically powerful, clear and very articulate and this one supports that impression. Lovely burst with bags of playwear but nothing that's gone too far. All the rest if original and in great condition. If you have ever wanted an early SJ with that character we find once in a while in a very played instrument than this is your guitar. No excuses, no apologies............it's just bloody great.
