1946 C F Martin 000-18
A truly lovely example of an all original Martin taper braced 000-18. This post war period, which was so short, finds Martin with nice chunky necks and the much lauded taper bracing which defines the mid range and brings about a beautifully resonant and harmonic guitar. It feels beautiful to play and sonically, it's rich and fat with long running sustain and colors of harmonics that abound. Recently back from Uncle Dave's where it went for frets, it is now ready for the stage and screen for all of those who know the graces of such a machine.
