1973 C.F. Martin D-35 Slothead 12 fret
This is one of the models from the 70's that Martin made that I will happily include in my stock. The 12 fret dread. It's always a great sounding instrument and competes with the earlier brazilian examples in all ways. This example is a D-35 and has exceptionally grained Indian rosewood and a beautifully wide grained Sitka spruce top. Bound neck is standard on the 35 and from there on out, it's a stonking guitar. Very powerful and responsive with a fat voice and great harmonics. With the sound hole in what is referred to as the "sweet spot" in the soundboard, it can't help but make fine music. Lovely all original condition excluding the tuners, which are period and correct originals but replace a set of strip Klusons that someone put on it over time. No extra holes so nothing visually disturbing. Super guitar !!
