A custom "Euphonon" creation by New Era Guitars, owned and operated by Tony Klassen. who specifically set out to exactly reproduce the production models of the early guitar builders like Larson, Prairie State, Euphonon and Maurer. This 2012 Euphonon Deluxe is the highest state of the art. Cocobolo back and sides with an Adirondack spruce top and Larson style laminated X bracing in a jumbo sized body. Mahogany 3 piece neck with rosewood center and an ebony board and bridge. The headstock is veneered with ebony inlaid with tree of life pearloid and the pearl inlaid pickguard was custom built by renowned inlay artist Larry Robinson. It has a 25 1/2" long scale length with a 1 3/4" nut width, making it an exceptional sounding instrument. These new would be well over £12,000.ac Sadly, a few years ago Tony passed the divide, so they are not being made any more meaning it's a unique opportunity to get this model at a fabulous price. Very Larson-esque and extremely powerful, I don't think I've had a contemporary guitar in my hands that is as responsive as this is.......it's build quality and it's voice are why it now shows in a vintage guitar gallery, If you like pearl and like a tremendous sounding guitar.............well, it won't get better in a newer custom creation.
